What are Second Base products made of?
Made in the USA, most Second Base camisoles are a siro modal/spandex blend. Modal is an eco-friendly fiber extracted from the cellulose of trees. Spandex is what gives it a great fit so it will cling to your body, and Siro is a treatment that protects the fabric from pilling.
The American-made lace fabrics are 100% Nylon, with a great stretch engineered in the lace itself. All lace trims, straps, and elastic trims are nylon and polyester.
Is Second Base a bra?
No. Second Base is a collection of camisoles tailored for wearing under dresses and form-fitting tops. True to its name, Second Base is meant to be layered on top of your first foundation: your bra. Second Base's design offers the comfort, invisibility, and breathability that regular camisoles lack. If you don't normally need a bra, you could wear Second Base as your first layer.
What size should I wear?
Because fit is so key to complementing your unique shape, our pieces are sized accordingly. Please refer to our size chart before choosing your size.
How do I care for my Second Base® pieces?
We recommend hand washing or machine washing in cold water with like colors. Hang or lay flat to dry to prolong the life of your cami. Using a dryer will cause the spandex to break down over time.
If you do decide to use a machine, be sure to keep away any harsh items such as bra hooks, zipper, buckles, or anything that might get caught on the cami. We wash ours on the gentle cycle, in cold water, in a lingerie bag to ensure that the straps don’t get caught on the washer’s agitator.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of original purchase date, on items that are unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. Follow the instructions on your packing slip.
